LeapXpert and Webex Partner to Bring Governed Client Messaging to Enterprises
LeapXpert and Webex by Cisco have teamed up to bring governed client messaging directly into the Webex platform. The integration allows Webex users to message clients on WhatsApp without ever leaving the application, with plans to expand to additional messaging channels in the future. This partnership aims to address the gap between enterprise-controlled systems and the consumer messaging channels where clients prefer to communicate.
The integration is now available on the Webex App Hub and enables employees to engage in text conversations with external contacts using their existing Webex credentials. Every message is checked by data loss prevention in both directions, and the full conversation is captured and archived by LeapXpert. The partnership is significant given that Webex is used by 95% of the Fortune 500 and roughly 300,000 organizations worldwide.
Avi Pardo, Co-founder and Chief Business Officer of LeapXpert, emphasized the importance of governing conversations that happen outside enterprise-controlled systems. He noted that clients have moved to messaging channels due to preference, not enterprise approval, and that firms unable to govern these conversations carry unseen risks. The partnership aims to close this gap for Webex customers.
LeapXpert will showcase the integration at WebexOne 2026, scheduled for October 5-8, 2026, at booth B24. The company is known for bringing enterprise-grade governance to consumer messaging channels, with hundreds of the world's most demanding enterprises across financial services, government, and the Forbes Global 2000 relying on its platform daily.
