Ascension Parish resident James LeBlanc is seeking re-election as Constable, Third Justice Court on November 3. With over four full six-year terms in the role, totaling 26 years of service, LeBlanc has consistently demonstrated professionalism, efficiency, and compassion throughout his tenure.

LeBlanc's impressive record of public service extends far beyond his position as Constable. He has spent 40 years as a Volunteer Fire Chief in Ascension Parish, starting at the age of 19 when he was elected by his peers to hold the role in the Prairieville community. Currently, he serves as Fire Chief over St. Amant and Darrow communities.

LeBlanc's dedication to public service is further underscored by his extensive involvement with various organizations. He has served as a Reserve Officer with Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office for 34 years, holding the rank of Captain over APSO Reserve Divisions. Additionally, he currently serves as Governmental Affairs Director for Ascension Parish Government, a role he took on in March 2021 after retiring from Honeywell Chemical with 31 years of service.
