Leopard Capital has exited its investment in an Amazon distribution centre in Welwyn Garden City through a sale to Legal & General for £5.525m.

The unit, which is let to Amazon UK Services, boasts a new 10-year lease from April 2026, following a regear completed ahead of the sale.

According to Leopard Capital's managing director Alex Fordyce, securing a long-term regear with Amazon was crucial in delivering a strong outcome for investors.

The deal reflects the value created through active management, and Leopard Capital continues to seek similar opportunities across the UK industrial market.
