Lion King Ride Roars to Life at Disneyland Paris
Disneyland Paris is undergoing a transformation with the construction of an immersive world themed to Walt Disney Animation Studios' The Lion King. This area will be dedicated exclusively to the film and will feature an all-new major attraction that brings iconic moments and songs from the 1994 animated classic to life.
The ride, which will be one of the largest attractions at the resort, features audio-animatronics figures, special effects, and three exciting slopes. Guests will embark on a sensational and musical adventure through the Pride Lands, listening to classic songs and passing through memorable scenes from the film, including Simba's final confrontation with Scar.
The new ride is a full retelling of Simba's journey from cub to king, detailing both happy times and challenging moments that stood in the way of the future king of Pride Rock. The attraction will include a thrilling 52-foot drop and a new flume system. Construction has already begun following the debut of Disney Adventure World earlier this year.
