Lloyds Banking Group (LLOY) has successfully completed a pilot project with Visa, moving $750,000 in USDC across multiple tranches. The settlement from Lloyds' Jersey branch to Visa cleared in under an hour, including on weekends.

This achievement demonstrates the efficiency of the banking group's systems and their ability to process cross-border transactions quickly, even during off-peak hours. The pilot project is a significant step towards adopting digital currencies like USDC within traditional banking infrastructure.

Lloyds also recently issued and admitted new ordinary shares to the London Stock Exchange Main Market for settlement of employee share-plan awards. This was done in accordance with their reporting window from 1-30 September 2026.
