Loch Ness Monster Sighting Captured on Google Earth Image
A Google Earth image has captured three mysterious figures in Scotland's Loch Ness, sparking speculation that they may be 'a little family' of the legendary monster.
The discovery was made by tourist Julie Fraser last week while she was exploring the loch on Google Earth. She reported the images to The Official Loch Ness Sightings Register and is awaiting confirmation as to whether this is now the 17th confirmed sighting of the creature this year, according to the Inverness Courier.
Fraser explained that when she took a closer look at the image, the three objects did not appear to be boats, but rather whales or something similar with an arc to their back. She also pointed out that there was no V-shaped trail behind the shapes, unlike a nearby image of a pleasure boat cutting across the loch.
The images have been reviewed by The Official Loch Ness Sightings Register, and if confirmed, would mark the third digital sighting since January, part of a banner year for the legendary beast that has already produced 14 in-person encounters and two additional webcam-based sightings.
