Ralph Edwin 'Ed' Maglisceau, an IBM executive for over three decades, passed away on August 21, 2026, at the age of 88. Born in Olean, New York, to Albert and Louise Maglisceau, Ed grew up in North Tonawanda, where his parents taught at the local high school.

After briefly serving in the U.S. Army, Ed worked for IBM, with stints in Baltimore, Boston, Washington D.C., Binghamton, Jackson, and New Canaan. He was recognized for his ability to bring people together to work towards a common goal.

In retirement, Ed and his wife Anne moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico, where they served the community through their Presbyterian faith. Ed also volunteered as a football referee, coaching his children in youth leagues and leading graduate classes at the College of Santa Fe.
