Fan videos captured Lorde telling American Express stage staff, 'We headline tomorrow night.' Her presence at the festival came as a surprise to many fans who were expecting Troye Sivan's appearance during his set. While it wasn't clear why Lorde didn't make an appearance on stage with Charli XCX, the two had previously made a surprise appearance together at Lollapalooza in Chicago earlier this summer.
