Both stores carry popular brands like John Deere and Sunseeker, but also offer exclusive partnerships with private labels.
For example, if you're looking for a Ryobi or Cub Cadet mower, Home Depot is the way to go. On the other hand, Lowe's has an exclusive partnership with Husqvarna, making it the better choice for those in the market for one of their high-end mowers.
Despite offering fewer brands than Lowe's, Home Depot actually has more models available within those brands. For instance, while Lowe's offers 62 push mower models, Home Depot has a whopping 72. The same is true for riding lawn mowers: Home Depot has an impressive 91 models to choose from, compared to Lowe's paltry 53.
