Lowry Endures Tough Times for Sunday's Thrilling Win

Shane Lowry reflected on his recent victory at the Amgen Irish Open, saying he'd endure years of struggle to experience moments like Sunday's 11-shot win. Lowry acknowledged that there have been times this year where he was 'pretty miserable' after a tournament.

'You have to go through the tough times to experience the good times,' Lowry said, adding that it's 'very hard at times to go through those tough times.' He'd 'go through them a million times over to experience what I did on Sunday.'

Lowry was asked about his plans for the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, but he declined to comment heavily. However, he noted that he's not planning on playing these events anyway as he intends to take a break during the winter.
