Madison Asset Management Invests $156M in Amazon.com

Madison Asset Management LLC made a significant investment in Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN), purchasing approximately 656,264 shares valued at $156,414,000 during the second quarter.

This purchase represents about 1.9% of Madison's portfolio and makes AMZN its seventh largest holding.

The institutional investor is not alone in its investment in Amazon.com, as Northstar Financial Companies Inc., Gryphon Financial Partners LLC, First Citizens Bank & Trust Co., GSA Capital Partners LLP, and Narwhal Capital Management also recently bought shares of the e-commerce giant.
