Magic Happens Parade Floats Roll into Disneyland Ahead of 2027 Return
The 'Magic Happens' parade is returning to Disneyland in 2027, and the floats are already making their way backstage. Disney Parks shared a video on their official accounts of the parade support Cast Members directing the floats out of storage and onto the streets of Anaheim.
A time-lapse shows the Coco float rolling down the road towards Cast Place, accompanied by other floats including the lead unit made to resemble Mickey's Sorcerer Hat, Cinderella's pumpkin, and Tiana's bayou.
The 'Magic Happens' parade originally debuted at Disneyland Park on February 28, 2020, but was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It returned in February 2023 as part of the Disney 100 Years of Wonder celebration, only to close again in October 2023 amid entertainment budget cuts.
The parade's return next year will be accompanied by two other fan-favorite entertainment offerings: 'Remember...Dreams Come True' fireworks spectacular and the original version of World of Color.
