Mammoth Freighters Delivers First Converted Boeing 777-200LRMF Freighter

Mammoth Freighters has reached a significant milestone in its passenger-to-freighter conversion program. The company delivered its first Boeing 777-200LRMF to Jetran, marking the beginning of a new chapter for this aircraft type.

The converted aircraft, N703DN, was originally built in 2009 and previously operated by Delta Air Lines. It was then converted at STS Aviation Services in Manchester, UK, as part of Mammoth's growing international production network.

The Boeing 777-200LRMF has a certified payload of approximately 104,800 kilograms and a range of around 4,800 nautical miles at maximum payload. This makes it an attractive platform for conversion due to its long-range capability and large fuselage.

DHL Express has taken delivery of the first aircraft, which will become part of its international long-haul network. The company plans to use this aircraft as part of a wider strategy to modernize its intercontinental fleet, replacing older Boeing 747 freighters with more efficient and environmentally friendly options.
