A converted Boeing 777 freighter has been delivered to DHL, marking Mammoth Freighters' entry into commercial service. The aircraft, formerly a Delta passenger jet, will serve DHL's global cargo routes and match factory-built 777Fs in range and payload but at a lower cost.

The 2009-built airframe, N703DN, was modified in Fort Worth and certified by the FAA in April 2026 after delays. It features a 163-inch maindeck door and carries 231,000 lb over 4,800 nautical miles.

DHL will operate it via DHL Air UK as part of a 13-aircraft order. This conversion program unlocks hundreds of retired 777s for cargo use, with upcoming deliveries including units for Qatar Airways Cargo.
