A 40-year-old man from Maricopa was arrested after crashing his vehicle into a light pole at Home Depot, causing $15,000 in damage. William Monaghan was driving a white Chevrolet Colorado when he struck the pole in the parking lot on Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway.

According to a probable cause statement, Monaghan told officers that huffing had caused him to lose control of his vehicle. Officers found multiple air canisters inside the vehicle, which they believe were used for inhalation.

Monaghan's driver's license was also suspended due to a previous DUI offense, according to the statement.
