Man Sets Himself Ablaze Inside Google Office Building in Manhattan

A bizarre incident occurred on Friday, August 28, 2026, in Downtown Manhattan when a man set himself on fire inside a building containing offices for Google.

The man, believed to be in his 60s, walked into the Hudson St. building near Spring St. and set himself ablaze just before 3 p.m., according to law enforcement.

Medics rushed the man to a local hospital where he was listed in stable condition with no other injuries reported.
