Manchester Chefs Take Over Brixton in Exclusive Culinary Collaboration

A culinary takeover is coming to Brixton this September as Manchester's top chefs collaborate with local food icons for one night only. The event, part of American Express Presents: Food Fest, will feature four Michelin-recommended restaurants from Manchester teaming up with London-based chefs and venues on Thursday, 17 September 2026.

The participating restaurants are Nell's Pizza, Another Hand, OSMA, and SAMPA, who will create exclusive one-off dishes in collaboration with local guest Whole Beast and Brixton residents Los Gordos, Little Bao Boy, and Black Stars. The menu promises a fusion of flavors, from New York-inspired Mexican street tacos to authentic Brazilian cuisine.

Tickets for the event are priced at £15 per person and can be purchased on the Freight Brixton website. Amex Cardmembers will receive additional perks, including a complimentary cocktail and access to a VIP bar.
