Mandalorian and Grogu Coming to Disney Plus in September

Disney's latest Star Wars offering is making its way to Disney Plus in September. Lucasfilm's The Mandalorian and Grogu, which was released in theaters in May, will be available on the streaming platform on Wednesday, Sept. 2. This marks a new chapter for the beloved characters of Din Djarin and Baby Yoda as they're enlisted to help the New Republic track down a warlord.

The duo finds themselves caught in the middle of a Hutt family conflict, putting their mission at risk. The movie features Pedro Pascal as Din/Mandalorian and also includes Sigourney Weaver, Jeremy Allen White, and Martin Scorsese in its cast.

In addition to the film's streaming release, Disney is also launching an accompanying podcast called Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu. The podcast will debut two episodes on Sept. 2 at 6 p.m. PT (9 p.m. ET) and will be available on various platforms, including YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Pandora, Amazon Music, and more.
