Mary Ann Sozio Dies After 60 Years with Husband
Mary Ann Sozio passed away on September 29, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was a devoted wife of 60 years to Tony Sozio and a mother who cherished caring for those she loved.
Mary Ann was predeceased by her parents, Salvatore and Mary Occhipinti, as well as her mother-in-law, Antoinette Sozio, and son-in-law Dave Maenza. She is survived by her husband Tony, daughter Rae Maenza, daughter Jennifer Wright, grandchildren Nicholas Maenza, Danielle Depetres, Alexis Wright, Damian Wright, Zachary Wright, and great-grandson Sonny Depetres.
Mary Ann was a proud member of the Webster Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary for over 40 years. She worked at Monroe Savings Bank, Verizon Wireless, and The Home Depot, where her warmth, reliability, and care for others were evident in everything she did.
The family invites friends to attend Mary Ann's Funeral Service on October 3 at All Seasons Chapel, White Haven Memorial Park, Pittsford. Her love, generosity, and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
