Massive Radio-Controlled Boeing 777 Takes to the Skies

A massive radio-controlled Boeing 777 model has been completed by Ramy RC and can actually fly. The aircraft, which is a scale of 1:7, features a wingspan of 33 feet (10 meters) and weighs a whopping 630 pounds (285 kilograms).

The model is powered by two electric ducted fans and incorporates CNC-cut foam components strengthened with carbon fiber. According to the source, the aircraft's construction took a significant amount of materials and effort.

Previous versions of this project were smaller in scale, but the newer airplane is a different level of undertaking entirely. The flight video shows the aircraft rolling along a paved runway before accelerating into a smooth climb and performing various aerial maneuvers.
