Massy Cat Sells Caterpillar Dealership to MACORP
Massy Group has confirmed that it is selling its Caterpillar dealership to Machinery Corporation Motors Ltd (MACORP), a locally registered subsidiary of Machinery Corporation of America, Inc.
The decision was made after careful strategic consideration of Massy Machinery's future and where the Caterpillar business has the strongest opportunity to grow, according to Dionne Ligoure, vice president of corporate communications and corporate affairs.
Ligoure noted that MACORP is a dedicated Caterpillar business with deep experience across the region and will be well positioned to build on what its teams have developed in Trinidad and Tobago.
The sale affects approximately 200 employees, who will receive support and consideration for future opportunities within Massy Group, Ligoure added.
