Maybank Unveils Limited Edition BTS Debit Card with Exclusive Perks
Malaysian bank Maybank has introduced its limited edition Maybank Visa BTS World Tour Arirang Debit Card in collaboration with Visa. The card is available exclusively for fans of K-pop group BTS, and only 200,000 cards will be issued nationwide.
The card can be linked directly to an existing or new Maybank current or savings account, including the popular i.Saver account. In addition to standard banking functions, the card offers several exclusive perks, such as mobile wallet support for Apple Pay and Samsung Wallet, allowing users to make contactless payments from their iPhone, Apple Watch, or compatible Samsung Galaxy device.
Cardholders also gain automatic entry into a concert ticket giveaway, with pairs of tickets available for the BTS World Tour Arirang concert at National Stadium Bukit Jalil on December 12. To participate, cardholders must register by sending an SMS with the word 'BTS' to the number 66628 or through the dedicated Maybank2u promotion page.
Existing Maybank customers can request a replacement online via Maybank2u starting September 28, while non-Maybank customers must first open an account before applying for the card. The card comes with a default daily purchase limit of RM3,000, which can be increased up to RM10,000 via Maybank2u or adjusted at any Maybank ATM.
