McDonald's is bringing back its popular Boo Buckets for the 2026 Halloween season, but with a sinister twist. The fast-food chain revealed that this year's buckets will feature five iconic Disney villains: Jafar from Aladdin, Ursula from The Little Mermaid, Scar from The Lion King, Cruella from 101 Dalmatians, and Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty.
The buckets, available in orange, red, purple, green, and black and white, will hit restaurants on October 20. Each comes with stickers and a villain-inspired lid, and will be available for a limited time while supplies last. McDonald's described the designs as catering to different fan preferences, from 'fabulous flair' to 'sea-witch swagger.'
Social media users had already spotted leaks of the Boo Bucket designs earlier this week, with mixed reactions from fans. McDonald's first introduced the Boo Buckets in 1986, discontinued them in 2016, and brought them back in 2022 for the Halloween season.
