McDonald's Korea has partnered with K-pop celebrity G-Dragon to launch Korean-inspired gochujang butter burgers in 13 Asian countries. The campaign, which starts on September 17, will adapt the menu offerings to local tastes and market characteristics.

The McCrispy Gochujang Butter and McSpicy Gochujang Butter chicken burgers feature Cajun-seasoned chicken thighs or spicy chicken breast patties topped with gochujang-butter sauce and Colby Jack cheese. The sauce will also be available as a separate dipping option.

According to McDonald's Korea, the choice of gochujang reflects the growing international interest in Korean flavors, particularly among younger consumers who share their experiences on social media.
