McDonald's Holdings Company (Japan), Ltd. (TSE:2702) reported its half-year results, which were roughly in line with estimates. Despite this, its shares fell 2.8% to JP¥7,920 in the week following the announcement.

The company's revenues for the period were JP¥204b, while statutory earnings per share came in at JP¥255. Analysts had forecasted similar figures, but their expectations for next year have been adjusted slightly.

According to the analysts' revised forecasts, McDonald's Holdings Company (Japan) is expected to see its revenues reach JP¥414.1b by 2026, a decline from last year's levels. Statutory earnings per share are forecasted to be around JP¥272 for the same period.

While this represents a slight downgrade in sentiment, analysts have still increased their price target for the company to JP¥9,200, representing an 8.9% rise. This suggests that they believe the stock's intrinsic value will continue to grow despite the recent decline.
