McDonald's Names Skye Anderson as New President of U.S. Operations
McDonald's has appointed Skye Anderson as its new President of McDonald's USA, effective August 4, 2026. She will oversee nearly 14,000 U.S. restaurants and lead the execution of the company's > NEXT strategy.
Anderson succeeds Joe Erlinger, who is leaving after more than 20 years with the company and nearly seven years leading the U.S. business. He will advise until early 2027.
With over 26 years of experience at McDonald's, Anderson has held various leadership positions across finance, operations, and global services. As head of the U.S. West Zone, she helped modernize more than 5,700 restaurants, drive over 30% comparable sales growth, and increase average restaurant cash flow by $100,000.
Chris Kempczinski, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of McDonald's Corporation, praised Anderson's leadership skills and ability to translate strategy into execution. He expressed confidence in her ability to lead the company's largest market and advance the > NEXT strategy.
