McDonald's Plans New Restaurant in Arlesey with Over 100 Job Opportunities
McDonald's plans to build a new restaurant and drive-thru facility in Arlesey, UK, could bring over 100 jobs to the area.
The proposed development includes an access road, parking for 39 vehicles, and ten ultra-rapid electric vehicle charging spaces.
A McDonald's spokesperson said, 'We're pleased to have submitted plans for a new restaurant in Arlesey. The development would create jobs and deliver investment in the area, while bringing an empty site into productive use.'
The plans include a modern freestanding restaurant with indoor seating and takeaway facilities, as well as a children's play area, outdoor patio space, and landscaping to support biodiversity.
According to the company, the development would generate employment opportunities during both the construction and operational phases, creating around 100-120 new full and part-time jobs.
The planned McDonald's restaurant would also contribute an estimated £50,000 to £60,000 in business rates each year for the local authority to invest.
