McDonald's Q2 Earnings Meet Expectations Amid Ongoing Growth
McDonald's (NYSE:MCD) reported its Q2 CY2026 earnings results, meeting Wall Street's revenue expectations. The fast-food chain generated $7.10 billion in sales, a 3.7% year-on-year growth rate that aligned with analyst estimates.
The company's GAAP profit came in at $3.32 per share, matching consensus estimates. McDonald's operating margin remained steady at 47%, consistent with the same period last year.
Same-store sales rose 1.3% year on year, slightly below the 3.8% growth rate seen in the same quarter last year. The company's market capitalization stands at $188.4 billion.
Chris Kempczinski, Chairman and CEO of McDonald's, stated that the company delivered positive comparable sales growth across every segment and took decisive action to strengthen execution for long-term growth.
