McDonald's Revives Monopoly Promotion with $1 Million Cash Prize
McDonald's is bringing back its popular Monopoly promotion, offering customers a chance to win big prizes including $1 million in cash and a Jeep Cherokee vehicle. The contest returns on October 6th and runs through November 1st.
The promotion will feature various prizes, including instant food rewards, MyMcDonald's Rewards points, collect-to-win prizes, and Chance Card rewards.
Despite the return of Monopoly, McDonald's shares have struggled this year, down over 17% so far in 2026. The company is expected to host an Investor Day on Wednesday to outline its medium-term strategy and targets.
BTIG analyst Peter Saleh said that the Under $3 Value Menu failed to resonate with consumers, while Seaport Research Partners analyst Eric Gonzalez stated that McDonald's 2026 execution had fallen short of expectations.
