McDonald's Unleashes Kawaii Meets Kaiju: Hello Kitty x Godzilla Happy Meals Arrive

McDonald's has teamed up with Sanrio and Toho to create a unique Happy Meal collaboration featuring Hello Kitty and Godzilla. The limited-time meal comes with one of eight toys, blending Sanrio's iconic characters with the monsters from the Godzilla movies. Each toy represents a crossover between a Sanrio character and a Godzilla monster.

The 'Hello Kitty x Friends' series includes Kuromi x Mechagodzilla, My Melody x Mothra, Keroppi x King Ghidorah, Pompompurin x Gigan, Batz-Maru x Rodan, Chococat x SpaceGodzilla, and Cinnamoroll x Destroyah. The collection is available at participating McDonald's locations for a limited time.

Guillaume Huin, McDonald's senior marketing director, called the collaboration 'one of his favorites ever.' Fans are excited about the new collab, with many sharing their enthusiasm on social media and expressing hope that it will be released internationally. The Hello Kitty x Godzilla Happy Meals come in the classic format, where customers can choose between a burger or nuggets and sides.
