MCO Expands Visitor Pass Program for Disney and Universal Fans
Orlando International Airport (MCO) is trying to change the way people view airports. The airport's Experience MCO Visitor Pass Program has expanded its hours, allowing more time for visitors to explore the terminals beyond security.
The updated schedule allows approved visitors to enter the post-security areas between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., with a deadline of 8 p.m. to leave. This means families can spend more time together before flights, or locals can treat themselves to a free morning out.
The Disney and Universal themed stores at MCO are a major draw for fans of the parks. With this pass, visitors can browse these stores without having to be ticketed passengers. The program is limited, so it's essential to apply online up to seven days in advance and receive TSA approval.
Visitors must follow all TSA security rules, including the 3-1-1 liquids rule, and cannot exit and re-enter the terminals. It's crucial to plan ahead and bring necessary items, as there are no amenities available for re-entry.
