Meadowhall Gets Mega JD Sports Store with Tripled Footprint

JD Sports has expanded its flagship store at Meadowhall shopping centre in what is being hailed as a major investment for the sports fashion retailer.

The new 29,225 sq ft store, located on Meadowhall's lower high street, is three times larger than the former space and marks a significant commitment to the destination.

JD has combined five units to create the new store, which features an extended product range from brands including Nike, Adidas, The North Face, Hoka, Salomon, and Saucony.

The expansion enables JD to showcase its enhanced retail concept, designed to meet the demands of Meadowhall's customers. According to the business, the relocation signals 'strong retailer confidence' in the shopping centre's commercial performance and catchment.
