The Mechrevo Phenom 15 Air 2026 is a gaming laptop that combines an unusual AMD Zen 5 APU, specifically the Ryzen 7 449, with Nvidia's RTX 5060 Laptop GPU. This configuration allows for smooth gameplay at 1080p resolution with high visual presets.
The Ryzen 7 449 has four Zen 5 cores and four Zen 5c cores, similar to the Ryzen AI 7 450, but lacks an integrated Neural Processing Unit (NPU). The Radeon 860M iGPU is suitable for lightweight workloads. Mechrevo's decision to pair this APU with a powerful GPU ensures the laptop can handle demanding games.
The Phenom 15 Air has a 15.3-inch QHD OLED display with a 240Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 color coverage, along with factory color calibration. The design is relatively thin at 18.75mm and lightweight at 1.6kg (about 3.52lbs). It features a decent port configuration, including three USB-A, one USB-C, and one USB4.
The laptop is available in China with a launch price of CNY 11,499 (around $1,709) for the single configuration, which includes 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 1TB SSD. It's unclear if Mechrevo plans to release this model globally.
