Meeder Advisory Services Invests Heavily in Chevron

Meeder Advisory Services Inc., a financial services company, has acquired a new position in Chevron Corporation (NYSE:CVX) worth approximately $6.5 million, according to its latest Form 13F filing with the Securities & Exchange Commission.

The fund purchased 39,198 shares of CVX stock during the second quarter, which represents a significant investment in the oil and gas industry leader.

Meeder Advisory Services Inc.'s acquisition is not an isolated incident, as several other large investors have also made substantial changes to their positions in Chevron. BlackRock Inc., for instance, acquired a new position worth approximately $25.7 billion during the same quarter, while Norges Bank purchased a new stake valued at around $3.7 billion.

State Street Corp and Berkshire Hathaway Inc. have also increased their stakes in CVX, with State Street Corp growing its holding by 9.1% and Berkshire Hathaway Inc. increasing its position by 6.6% during the third quarter.
