Meiji Yasuda Asset Management Co Ltd. Pours $75 Million into Apple Inc.
Meiji Yasuda Asset Management Co Ltd., a major institutional investor, has made a significant new investment in Apple Inc. ($AAPL) during the second quarter, according to its latest 13F filing with the Securities & Exchange Commission.
The company bought 261,856 shares of Apple's stock, valued at approximately $75,771,000, which now accounts for 3.4% of Meiji Yasuda Asset Management Co Ltd.'s holdings and ranks as its second-largest holding.
This is not the only new investment in Apple made by institutional investors during this period. Sterling Wealth Management Inc. increased its stake in shares of Apple by 0.3%, while Evansbrook LLC, JMG Financial Group Ltd., Advocate Investing Services LLC, and Interactive Financial Advisors Inc. all grew their positions in the tech giant.
However, some analysts have expressed concerns about Apple's valuation and AI execution, with commentators arguing that AAPL's large gains leave limited room for disappointment, particularly if Apple's AI products fail to match Meta's rapidly advancing AI agents and wearables.
