Merced Police Seek Help Identifying Home Depot Thief

The Merced Police Department is seeking help from the public to identify a man suspected of stealing over $1,500 worth of merchandise from The Home Depot in Merced on June 10, 2026.

The theft occurred at the store located at 1735 Highway 140, where the suspect allegedly collected several cans of spray foam and a welding kit before leaving without paying.

Police released an image of the man in an effort to identify him, with anyone who recognizes him or has information about his identity or whereabouts asked to contact the Merced Police Department at 209-385-6998.
