Merced Police Seek Help Identifying Thief Who Assaulted Home Depot Employee

A man is wanted by the Merced Police Department for stealing and assaulting an employee at The Home Depot in Merced, California. According to officials, on August 22, a male suspect walked into The Home Depot store and stole multiple items before attacking an employee who tried to stop him.

Fortunately, the employee was not seriously injured, but the incident is still under investigation. Police have released a description of the suspect and are asking for help from the community in identifying him.
