Mercer Advisors Taps Goldman Alum for Key Tech Role as It Refinances Private Debt
Mercer Advisors, a $111 billion registered investment adviser, has hired Cynthia Loh as its first-ever chief platform officer. Loh joins from Goldman Sachs, where she led the product organization behind the firm's wealth offering for Fortune 1000 employers.
Loh brings extensive experience in finance and technology to her new role, having also worked at Schwab, Betterment, PIMCO, and Merrill Lynch. She will oversee the operating platform that underpins both the advisor and client experience at Mercer Advisors.
Mercer Advisors is currently refinancing its existing private credit debt with a $1.65 billion loan, which would save it about $29 million per year in borrowing costs. The firm's CEO, Dave Welling, said Loh has spent her career 'at the intersection of advice, product and technology.'
