Merck Foundation Announces Winners of Fashion, Song, and Film Awards 2025

The Merck Foundation has announced the winners of its Fashion, Song, and Film Awards 2025. The awards aim to raise awareness about social issues such as infertility stigma, girl education, women empowerment, child marriage, female genital mutilation (FGM), and gender-based violence (GBV) across Africa.

The 'More Than a Mother' theme of the awards focused on addressing these critical social issues, while the 'Diabetes & Hypertension' theme aimed to promote healthy lifestyles and raise awareness about prevention and early detection of diabetes and hypertension in African countries.

Senator Dr. Rasha Kelej expressed her pride in announcing the winners alongside African First Ladies who are also ambassadors of 'Merck Foundation More Than a Mother'. She congratulated the 51 winners from 15 African countries, praising their creative work that conveyed important social and health awareness messages.
