Merck Raises Awareness about Monitoring Children's Growth on International Children's Day
Merck Healthcare Korea marked International Children's Growth Awareness Day by launching an internal campaign to raise awareness about monitoring children's growth. The company chose September 11 for its campaign, ahead of the globally observed day on September 20.
The 'Does Last Year's Clothing Still Fit Your Child This Year?' campaign encouraged parents and caregivers to pay closer attention to their children's growth through everyday observations. Participating families tried on clothes in their current size as a visual benchmark against future growth.
Merck also conducted an online awareness campaign using content from the global initiative, sharing images and short-form content across digital channels. The company highlighted the importance of consistently monitoring children's growth trajectory to identify unusual changes early.
Growth disorders can have cardiovascular and metabolic complications, underscoring the need for early diagnosis and treatment. Merck has years of experience in growth hormone therapy and offers a comprehensive ecosystem for data-driven treatment management.
