Last week, tech stocks Meta and Microsoft led gains despite rising bond yields. The pair's strong performances helped boost the overall market.

The yield on the benchmark 10-year US Treasury note surged to a two-year high of 4.06% last week, but it did not deter investors from buying into technology stocks.

Meta shares rose 2.5% last week, while Microsoft's stock climbed 3.6%. The S&P 500 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average also advanced by 0.5% and 1%, respectively.
