Meta Enters Enterprise AI Market with New Platform
Meta has launched its Enterprise Platform, bringing together its AI agents, models, and developer tools to help businesses deploy them in-house. This move puts Meta directly into the enterprise AI market, already crowded with Microsoft, Salesforce, Google, ServiceNow, and other vendors.
The platform includes Muse, a general-purpose AI agent capable of taking actions such as sending emails, booking travel, and completing other multistep tasks; Meta Business Agent, aimed at companies to answer questions, recommend products, book appointments, qualify leads, and close sales; and the Muse API and Muse Code.
Meta's Enterprise Platform is led by Chirantan 'CJ' Desai, a former MongoDB CEO recruited as chief enterprise platform officer. Desai will report directly to Meta's CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
