Meta Enters Enterprise Software Market with New AI Stack

Meta Platforms is expanding its AI stack to compete in the enterprise software market, which includes major players like Microsoft and Salesforce.

The company announced a new business pillar called Meta Enterprise Platform, which will offer its technologies directly to enterprises and developers.

The platform's initial offerings include Muse, Meta Business Agent, Muse API, and Muse Code.

Meta has hired MongoDB CEO Chirantan 'CJ' Desai to lead the new platform, citing his expertise in AI, infrastructure, commercial applications, and security.

However, Meta's shares declined 4.5% to $717.60 after the news, while software companies like ServiceNow (NOW) slumped 3.4%, Oracle (ORCL) 4%, and Microsoft MSFT 1.3%.
