Mickey and Minnie Return to Hollywood Studios Alongside New Attractions
Vacation Fun, a beloved animated short featuring Mickey and Minnie, has reopened to the public at Hollywood Studios after being closed for nearly two months. The show, which follows the mouse couple as they prepare for a vacation of their own, had previously shut down twice this year for unrelated reasons.
The second closure lasted from August 9th until September 27th, leaving fans without their usual go-to spot for a reliable and low-key escape during long park days. The show's reopening comes during an especially active stretch for Hollywood Studios, with other new additions including the Magic of Disney Animation and a new character named Lilypad in Toy Story Land.
Lilypad is a frog-shaped smart tablet introduced in Toy Story 5 (2026) that offers interactive games and activities without requiring guests to wait in a ride line. The area also features an expanded soundtrack with remixed Toy Story music, brand new original songs, and even an instrumental version of 'I Knew It, I Knew You' from Toy Story 5.
