Mickey Magnet Alert: Disney World's October Price Hike Pattern Continues

Walt Disney World has begun sending out special Mickey Mouse magnets to eligible Annual Passholders who renew their passes. The magnet features Mickey in turn-of-the-century attire inspired by Main Street, U.S.A., and is part of the renewal process for those with anniversaries starting in September 2026. Eligible passholders should receive the magnet within six weeks of their anniversary date.

However, this gesture has some passholders on high alert as October approaches. Disney World has a history of raising Annual Pass prices during this month, with increases happening every year since 2023. In fact, the last three years have seen price hikes in October: 2023's increase was on October 11, followed by another on October 23 in 2024 and October 8 in 2025.

The prices of these passes are already substantial, with the Pixie Dust Pass costing $489, the Pirate Pass at $869, the Sorcerer Pass at $1,099, and the Incredi-Pass topping out at $1,629. A small increase could add up quickly for families purchasing multiple Annual Passes.
