The Mickey Shorts Theater at Disney's Hollywood Studios has reopened after a month and a half of refurbishment. The theater closed on August 9th to undergo the renovation, which was completed on September 28th.

Upon reopening, guests noticed that there were no major cosmetic changes to the theater. However, remnants of the now-defunct Disney app, Play Disney Parks, remain in place. The app was officially discontinued on September 16th and is no longer available for download from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

The refurbishment did not appear to be extensive, with posters and photo opportunities remaining unchanged around the theater. Despite the lack of significant changes, the reopening of Mickey Shorts Theater is welcome news for fans of the attraction.
