Micron Earnings Boost AI Stocks Amid Scarcity and Higher Expectations
Micron Technology's earnings beat has reinforced confidence in the AI infrastructure boom, sending Nvidia, AMD, and Intel stocks higher.
The chipmaker reported fiscal fourth-quarter revenue of $54.23 billion, adjusted earnings of $33.42 a share, and guided for roughly $61.5 billion of revenue this quarter.
Nvidia and AMD gained about 1%, while Intel also rose, as Micron's performance was seen as a positive indicator for the data center build-out ecosystem.
D.A. Davidson's Gil Luria noted that demand remained powerful even after expectations had risen sharply, with industry participants consistently saying they did not have nearly enough memory.
Micron's problem is that its excellent performance was already expected by shareholders, who had driven the shares up roughly 280% in 2026 heading into earnings.
