Micron Earnings to Spark Memory Market Rally
The memory market is expected to remain strong, and one chip stock could be poised for a significant increase after September 30. Micron's earnings report on that day will set the tone for the industry, and a beat by the company could signal that demand for DRAM and high-bandwidth memory remains high.
Sandisk, a NAND flash specialist, has already reported strong results, with revenue increasing 175% year-over-year to $20.25 billion. The company's data center segment is growing rapidly, with revenue reaching $5.2 billion in the full year, up 437% from the previous year.
Sandisk has also signed multiyear supply deals with major buyers, including Amazon and Nvidia, which will provide a stable source of revenue for the company over the next few years. The total value of these deals is expected to be around $93.9 billion.
