Microsoft-Activision Deal Settlement Delayed Amid Harassment Claims
A Delaware judge has put on hold a $250 million settlement that would resolve a shareholder suit challenging Microsoft's acquisition of Activision.
The proposed settlement, which was set to bring an end to claims that former Activision CEO Robert Kotick and other board members agreed to a discounted sale to Microsoft to quell allegations of workplace sexual harassment, has been delayed by the judge.
The settlement stipulation acknowledges that California employment regulators withdrew their Activision-related harassment claims, including those targeting Kotick.
