Microsoft is planning to triple its data center capacity by 2032 in an effort to meet growing demand for AI and cloud computing services.

The company's network of data centers will have over 38 gigawatts of capacity, up from around 12 gigawatts currently.

This expansion comes after Microsoft was forced to turn away some business due to a shortage of computing power.

According to people familiar with the plans, the increased capacity will help the company provide more services and support for its customers.
